How does it work?
We base your monthly payments on your energy usage for the previous year. If you’re a new customer and don’t have any usage history with us, one of our expert advisers will advise you on an estimated amount based on your property type and lifestyle. This will then be spread evenly over 12 monthly payments.
We review your account at least once a year to make sure you’re not paying too much or too little. But it’s important that we have accurate meter readings to help us ensure your review is based on the most up to date information. You can provide these if you have an online account or by phoning our 24-hour Meterline on 0800 220 995.

It’s so easy to set up a Direct Debit for your electricity or gas account. You can start saving money straight away and benefiting from simple, easy payments - giving you one less thing to worry about.
Just call us on 0800 048 3517 to set up a Direct Debit for your electricity or gas account. Or, if you have an online account, log in to your account, then go to our Apply Online form and choose Direct Debit in Step 2. Then you can start saving today. You can even choose the date you’d like us to take the payment!
